Testing filter media

We determine the parameters that matter

The testing of filter media is important for the development and optimisation of filter materials, as well as for quality assurance during filter production. Increasing quality requirements for filtration solutions make it necessary to better understand the characteristics of the filter media used. In addition to the long-established filtration applications, this has recently also affected personal protective equipment and room air cleaners. At the same time, interest in this area is also being intensified by new mobility concepts such as e-mobility and fuel cell technology. We are also increasing our activities in this field and will be happy to support you with our expertise in the field of material analysis.

As a filter media manufacturer, you design your media as required by your customers’ specific applications. The filter media are tailored to the specific application in terms of their pressure drop behaviour and separation efficiency. In pore size analyses and efficiency measurements, we provide you with the specifications and characteristics that are important to you. In addition, our technologies can be used in the testing of cleanable filter media and mask media.
